PhD Position in Environmental Chemistry and Ecosystem Research (m/f/d) at the MPI for Biogeochemistry in Jena

The position will start a.s.p. and will be for 4 years. Job Description: investigating the interaction between plant and soil microbial communities and the soil matrix by using an ultra-high resolution mass spectrometric approach. Applying non-targeted Orbitrap-MS techniques the molecular composition of organic matter in soil solution and soil extracts will be compared along a plant diversity gradient. Profile: Master’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry or other chemistry related sciences. Experience in analytical chemistry, LC-MS, handling of big data sets.
